Lipton's Brisk Tea, know for it’s creative claymation advertisements, has just released a new commercial featuring rocker Ozzy Osbourne. The ad shows claymation Osbourne telling in 35 seconds everything it "takes to be normal". At the end he asks "but why would you want to be normal" and takes a gulp from a can of Brisk.
Some of the most prominent characters featured in the ads include Elvis Presley, James Brown, Willie Nelson, Coolio, Sylvester Stallone (Rocky), Bruce Lee and others. A commercial released last month by the company featured Actor Danny Trejo playing his lead role in "Machete", a 2010 action film.
To better connect with customers, Lipton currently has a contest at their Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/brisk) where registered users can tell their own Brisk story in 110 characters or less about a topic. Partcipants are entered to win a signed Machete DVD and, if the company likes their response enough, may even animat them as a Brisk puppet.
In addition to Brisk, Lipton offers a wide range of products including standard tea bags, Pyramid Tea bags wich consist of long-leaf tea handpicked from only the top two leaves and a bud, iced tea mix, and PureLeaf Tea, ready-made bottled tea.
