What can I say? Eve Falcon seconded the motion that ladies rule the decks in Portland by laying down her unique grooves for a packed house. This was the second Saturday in a row with the ladies running Pala, Portland’s premier Fashion Lounge--Jackie Christie last, and Eve Falcon this.
Upon my arriving to Pala Lounge, the house was already filled with
many anxious for Eve to begin. As I waited, getting my camera and feet warmed up, Eve seemingly snuck in un-noticed by me and a good portion of the dancing crowd. Taking on where DJ Evan Alexander left off, she didn’t stay un-noticed for long.
As the headliner for Pala Lounge, she brought her grooves with a vengeance. And, by the look and energy of the crowd, she gave them what they were waiting for: hard progressive house with a twist of…, well, Eve Falcon. (Sample of Eve spinning at Pala)
Miss Falcon pretty much laid down her signature grooves with the energy and spirit one reads about in reviews of her. And just when I thought I couldn’t muster another step, she blended, tweaked and mixed something in that kept me going. She is one hell of a DJ with a charisma and personality to match. Now I wonder when she is going to return to Portland?
Here are some pictures from Saturday. Enjoy!

I like your blog and pictures!
I saw Eve Falcon DJ once. Me thinks it was in Seattle? She was awesome. I wish I could have gotten to Portland to see her.

Ah, how I love good electronica. Mostly I'm a trance guy but I like all genres: Trance, House, Progressive House, Ambient, drum and bass, etc.
I'll have to check her stuff out. Does she have any cd's??

Hi James,
I hear you, man. I am kind of the same way. I tend to lean a little to the funky house side, but I will pretty much take what I can get.
As for Eve Falcon, I don't believe she has a sole personal album out, yet? Although, she does have a great track "Know it all" on the album "Femme Fatales-12 Leading Ladies of Electronica".
I do have a copy of a better-than-a-demo CD Miss Falcon did for promo. It is outstanding! Check your local club carrying electronica brand music; they may have one they would give you. Promoters of DJ's often send several copies to clubs so there maybe some lying around unless they were all snagged up.
If you do want to hear some of her art and the track "Know it all" w/ remixes, check out her myspace page at: http://myspace.com/evefalcon
For more tracks of her, go to her professional site audio page and listen to what she has there: http://www.evefalcon.com/audio.html
Peace and Joy!
